Sansula

The Sansula  is an adaptation of the traditional African kalimba. It’s design stores vibrations in a wooden block, which are then transmitted to a resonating membrane, producing a prolonged, soft sound full of overtones, thanks to its adjacent octaves tuning.

This Sansula has been Handmade by Juan Pablo in Loma Verde, Argentina, using natural and selected goatskin as membrane (main difference with cheaper synthetic versions). The frame is made from Lenga (wood from South America). The keys and the screws are stainless steel.
